Major Full Tilt Poker Software Upgrade

full_tilt_logoFull Tilt Poker continues to work to improve the online poker experience. With the release of the latest version of their software client, Full Tilt has added some interesting features to their online poker room.

Players now can explore to great new options on Full Tilt: Run it Twice and Cashout tournaments.

Run It Twice is a feature most people will recognize from the GSN show High Stakes Poker. Basically, when players get all in, they can agree to ‘run’ the rest of the cards and split the pot according to who wins each one. FTP now offers players to run remaining cards twice once all in in cash games. Win once, you win half the pot. Win twice, you scoop the whole thing.

Full Tilt has basically upended the tournament model with this new type of MTT that allows you to cash out your chips during the tournament and actually receive cash for them. Not all tournaments are Cashouts – reference the images below for an explanation.

While these new features might not be enough to convince you to try FTP alone, they are a nice bonus if you’ve been on the fence.

FTP has really been working to improve their software over the last year. A few months ago, they rolled out an entire reworking of the lobby, introducing a ton of filters and avenues for finding, waiting for and playing in games.

Those filters improved both their cash game and tournament lobbies, and it appears FTP is continuing on their path of adding new features to both sides, upgrading in an equal pattern of distribution.
