Everything–even something that’s already awesome–is a whole lot improved through a little of PokerStars involvement? If you would like proof, check out the Empire State Hold’em Championship next month. It was already going to be sweet, and now it should be better, because PokerStars is now sponsoring the event and running satellites.

The Empire State Hold’em Championship will explode August 14-18 at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in upstate New York. After the full timetable of cool tournys, the $2,500 buy-in most important event will serve as the headliner. Oh, and if you didn’t already know, the tournament at Turning Stone is adaptable to all or any players of 18 years of age and ahead.
