Heard of poker? I am sure you have!

Anybody who does not like to play poker will not know how people are addicted to this game. Yes, that’s true! Poker is an addiction for some people, and even celebrities are now seen playing poker and enjoying the game in their spare time. However, very few actually know how poker evolved.

There is still some confusion over the birth of poker. While the French claim that ‘poque’ is something that descended from them, the Germans believe their ‘pochen’ is also supposedly the origin of the modern version of the game. Such contradicting opinions have created a lot of confusion amongst the poker lovers. Not to be left behind, many also believe that the ancient Persians were the original inventors of poker, or ‘as nas’, as they called it.

Irrespective of the birthplace of poker, the truth remains that poker is one of the most loved games in the world today. The poker rules and guides have changed over the years, but the beauty of this game still remains intact.
